A battle of the the guys who don't look good anymore. Should be another decision-fest with both guys afraid to exchange and get embarassingly KO'd.

If you think about it, the only reason Andrei has seemingly fallen from grace was due to one loss at the hands of Brett Rogers. I mean, before that it was a loss to the #1 ranked fighter in the world at that time. I think it mainly comes down to Andrei having a weak jaw, which unfortunately isn't something he can really improve. It's a shame because a glass-chin really doesn't go well with his style...or any style for that matter but his in particular.

Good to hear he's focusing on MMA at the moment though, I just wish the UFC would sign him again, he needs to work on not getting tagged and get back in the UFC where he belongs. Anyone else still interested in CC vs. AA? Kind of like Chuck and Wand in that it's a bit past it's time but would probably be a good fight nonetheless.

I don't like hearing that either, Andrei should be more respectful to a guy who just defaced him in absolutely no time at all.
I agree that Arlovski has been written off a bit early, losing to Fedor shouldn't exactly be a career killer. I don't know that AA chin is necessarily that weak either, I think his problem stems more from loss of concentration and striking defense. He was doing well against Fedor until he tried that retarded flying knee with his hands tied behind his back, but unfortunately he is getting a reputation for lapses like that. When you fight the best, you don't get second chances, and Arlovski seems to have trouble staying 100% focused for an entire fight.

As for dissing Rogers, even though he lost to Rogers, I think he's partially right. Rogers only notable win is AA, who as I said is prone to losing fights he should/could win. Look at someone like Matt Serra, everyone said he got lucky when he knocked out GSP, and everyone was right, he's done nothing since then but get exposed. I have a feeling Rogers will disappear the same way after Fedor toys with him for a while.

I think the point is more that the weak chin is what has stalled AA's career, period.

I actually don't like the weak chin concept, though. Look. If you get hit with a clean shot to the chin, you're going down. That's that.

Sure, strong neck muscles can help, but what really avoids getting knocked out is better head movement. And that definitley is something Arlovski could develop if he spent the time doing it.
