Who would have thought? I figured Drew Fickett would have gotten dominated by Karo when on the ground! Fickett got pounded good on the ground but gave Karo trouble! Both men got bloodied up good! Still, Karo had better stand up and ground game then Fickett and that is why he won the fight! What are your thoughts?

i was suprised on Karos stand up he did real good i mean i know hos Judo was good and hes a decent fighter..but his striking looked real good!!!!!!

With the exception of the cut under Karo's eye, he looked pretty damn good after the fight was over. I was impressed with Fickett, though....I really had expected Karo to end the fight early.

I had to chuckle a couple of times, though, when Karo was literally *throwing* Fickett around the ring. Looked like a school yard bully.

I was more dissapointed in Karo than I was impressed with Fickett.

Sure his stand up looked fierce, but it was sloppy. Karo was obviously gassed during the 2nd half of the fight and a better timed knee might have put him out. Karo was 1200 percent right in saying that fickett isn't in his class but that fight was certainly between two similarly classed fighters.

Fickett took a beating and it seemed the more punches he took the stronger he got. Karo was punishing him all over the cage but it didn't seem to hurt him. I was getting worried that Karo might gas and get aced like against Snachez, but no, he won, hands down. Great fight.

Team Punishment

Man Karo cameout strong in the first round but Fickett showed some toughness and put up a fight. It was a good fight and Im glad my hometown boy Karo won.
