We're clearly back to square one, and I fear for the coverage of UFC 103. This settles it for me; I'll record Saturday's event, then I can fast forward through the adverts when I watch it on Sunday.
It's a fight night. EVERY broadcasting of a fight night has been the same. Free on Spike in America = many more ads. As the UK are getting the feed via ESPN vis Spike, when america goes to a break we also do.

103 will be the same as 102.

They will broadcast till the end. Don't worry.

So in the US you have had adverts after every single round of every fight and TWO advert breaks between fights?

Yes, when it's free on TV.

Also the reason we get a screen with ESPN artwork sometimes at the end of a ad break is due to America still showing adverts.

We get their stream of the event, with our adverts in the ad slots.

Someone video tape it and post it. I can't imagine that it's so bad, even though it obviously is since everyone and their mum (see what I did there?) is saying it's unbearable.

Toxic, I think we've been a little spoiled here in the UK. Since I've been watching the UFC, there have been three different broadcasters and until now, we've been spared adverts between rounds. I find it robs the event of its atmosphere if you don't see the fighters enter the octogon and hear the cornerman's instructions, as well as the pundits' comments between rounds.

It isn't anything new Breadfan. All fight nights are the same. It's to be expected for a free show.

I'm not minding it so much (watching on Spike).

A couple of very brief adverts in between rounds isn't anything to lose sleep over.

Meant to finish at 10 in N. America.
