Read my post above. Many live sporting events have over run. I wouldn't worry about it. ESPN will not stop broadcasting until the event is over.

My concern is that people who have sky + it or v + it will miss the end of the Diaz fight because the recording will cut off at 3.

Thing is most don't want to admit there spoiled and instead look for sympathy, I spend probably over $500 a year on PPV, believe me ads sound pretty good.

This thought just came to me, hope it wasn't already mentioned...

Is this just because in UK there are a lot less advertisements than in US? Maybe it's just that we're used to it happening for every show.

Compared to the US, the UK is VERY spoiled. We pay piss all compared to you. Especially in months with 2 PPVs.

UK Adverts wise, we go to an advert break whenever you guys do. So we get the same effectively.

That's basically the rule, except for UFC 101 when ESPN did something different. Other than that we get the feed directly from you guys and replace your American adverts with our Brit adverts to take up the same time slots.

I think that's it, Breadfan. Most UK viewers were angry about ESPN's first broadcast, UFC 101. I guess if you've always had a lot of ads in the USA, UK fans must have seemed like whingers.

And $500 per year, Toxic? Jesus H Christ! Although we can't get all of the events you can (eg WEC), what is show is usually free to cable subscribers.

Well that seemed to cut off abruptly. No post fight interview? The programme ended less than 10 seconds after the fight was stopped. Is that what you US viewers got?

I live in Canada and don't get Versus so we get some WEC on TSN but its completly random as to which we get and which we don't, never know if it will be on till the night of.
