If Diego could withstand BJ's standup and BJJ and take him to the third round he would take it. But BJ is almost impossible to take down, and if Matt Hughes almost got choked out by him I see the same result from Diego.

We all know Penn is come and go, but if he trains right and has some cardio... he would destroy Diego. BJ's style is a horrible matchup against a ground N pounder like Diego. BJ would outstrike him, stuff his takedowns, or even if he did get taken down, he is more likely to submit DIego from the bottom than Diego is to ground n pound him out.

Ugly fight. But I think a necessary test before Diego gets a title shot that everyone who seems to think Joe Riggs was nothing, but then Diego beats him (like they thought) and suddenly he gets a title shot? For beating someone they referred to as a has-been, nobody can?
