Riggs is a big/strong dude in case you haven't noticed, and we all saw what he did to him (Riggs obviously isn't as good as hughes but he's defintly bigger and as strong if not stronger than hughes). I'm by no means a diego fan but I've gained a huge amount of respect for him after his last two victories. And I think I've doubted him enough, I'd have to go with diego via sub, ko, or decision. He seems to be able to win anyway now.

I noticed that Riggs is a big/strong dude but not on same level as Hughes as you said. Riggs doesn''t know how to use his strength to body up his oppenent. I think Hughes can better utilize his strength and size. Not to mention Hughe's mental game is 150% that of Riggs

Hughes will win because of his experience against better quality fighters. Yes Diego fought Karo but it went to decision and many people believe Karo won. Hughes knows how to use his strenght and can get on top of Diego. Yes Diego is good at subs, but I don't believe he will catch Matt. Just look at the last fight with Penn, yes Penn was winning in the second but he still wasn't able to catch Matt and Penn is much better then Diego at subs.

If Hughes stands with diego he'll get knocked out.
Otherwise I see Diego losing on the ground, Matt is an
exceptional wrestler.

Diego is good but he's only a little better than Karo and I
dont consider him part of the A-Team yet (GSP, BJ, Hughes)

We all know Hughes next fight will be GSP. So GSP is tied up for what 3-4 more months, with Serra and Hughes?

The only person Diego can fight next is BJ in my opinion, that is if he want's to stay active and not take too much time off before he gets a title shot.

Put BJ vs. Diego on UFC 69 in Montreal and give the winner of that the next title shot after GSP/Hughes 3.

The program with giving Diego the next title shot is that I think Hughes deserves his rematch immediately after Serra, which puts the earliest possible date of GSP/Diego is June. Diego needs another fight before then to stay fresh.
