Efrain Escudero = Impressive
I love this kid Efrain. Yet to see him even remotely troubled by anybody so far and it seems the better the opponent the better his performance. Puts it into perspective just how much better than the rest of the TUF9 LW he is. Browning & Nover... give me a break.
Power, Speed, excellent wrestling and striking. Not a scratch on his pretty face. I cant wait to see more of this animal.

I agree. He seems good in all aspects, plus he is young, athletic and hungy.
I loved that slam on Miller.

well someone missed the whole first half of that fight o.O Not to take anything away from him, because I agree with you, but he was getting owned standing for quite a while. He's improving fast though, for sure.

Getting owned standing? That's not how I saw it at all. It was pretty even on the feet till Miller got dropped and pounded at 3:30. Having said that, I'm no fighter so am keen to hear your breakdown of the standup. ( not patronizing at all... I'm looking for some schooling. Thanks )

Efrian barely landed anything IIRC. Miller's reach was way too large and he was peppering him with unanswered strikes for quite a while... I'll rewatch it because maybe I missed it? brb

Yep, I think i'll have another viewing today so I can refresh my memory. I do agree that Millers reach was getting through but I liked the way Efrain could explode, close the distance very quickly and then get the **** out. I felt like Efrain had just got Millers timing down at about 3 minutes in and I remember thinking, "Man, Efrains going to catch him if he's not careful.". Then Bang! Twas a great finish though... we can all agree on that I'm sure.

yeah Efrian didn't land anything at all (flush anyways) until about 2:30 into it *which was a leg kick*, I saw him land a knee when Cole was pushing in and then the two hooks that dropped him :\ The one had him backing up and the next dropped him. But I wouldn't say he was necessarily in trouble on his feet, but no doubt was he getting beaten pretty badly until that punch landed. I don't think it was a lucky punch at all though, like you said, he was getting close to timing Cole.

I was thinking the same thing right now all weve really seen from him (Since the TUF finale) is that he can hit someone really hard...but lots of people can do that lol. Cole MIller held his own or quite awhile and when the crowd started to boo he lost his cool changed his pace and made a mistake.

Hitting hard he does. But from what we saw of his wrestling, he dominated any fight that dropped to the mat. Now I know the opposition wasnt exactly top shelf, but he dominated the fighters he's faced so far which shows a gap in class between himself and the wannabes. He clearly deserves a notch up in competition.
Miller was doing well, but got smashed at 3 and a half minutes. It takes a very good fighter to pounce on the first mistake like that. Reminded me of the Griffen Rashard fight. Rashard was losing big time but won convincingly in the end in my eyes.
But then, I'm biased. I've got a thing for cobra like fighters who pounce very quickly and end fights regardless of the form the fight was showing.

I just like the way Miller totally outclassed Browning and now Efrain punched a hole through Miller and made a huge statement. Efrain has really improved since TUF and I am sure he will get better.
A bit too early to see if he can be world class but he is on the right track.
