Maybe I missed the thread that explained, but this was a catchweight fight? I looked like both fighters missed the weight cut; so does that mean neither was penalized?

Neer clearly should have won if you do absolutely nothing with a takedown it shouldn't count any more than a decent strike. Neer completely outclassed Tibau for the entire fight just another example of why judging is such a joke in MMA.

I couldnt agree more. This is not a wrestling match its MMA. You actually have to hit your opponent to win.
Neer wins big in the standup, and scores well off his back, whereas Tibau gets takedowns and.......... oh wait, that was all he did. I dont think tibau landed a single punch from top position the entire fight. Absolutely dumb decision, they need to get the scoring straightened out already.
