Franklin will smack Swick all over the octagon. Swick got lucky against Loiseau. Loiseau was still mentally shook from the beating he got from Franklin.

Couldn't agree more with that whole statement. And this fight only makes sense. Swick wanted his title shot, and Dana probably said he'd have to beat Franklin first. Because I honestly believe that Franklin is and should be the #1 contender.

Same with GSP, with the exception of Matt Serra, nobody should get a shot at him before Matt Hughes gets his rematch. Unless of course, someone beats Hughes, in which case, he should get a title shot.

I see there's a Diego Sanchez vs Matt Hughes thread on here, but I haven't checked it out yet. I think this will be Sanchez's next fight. He's beaten everyone put in front of him, and now he's beaten that "contender style fighter" who has fought the Champs, so now it's his turn. But he should have to go through Hughes first.

Of course he will...and he'll probably get a few more easy fights to rebuild his shattered rep after the mauling Silva gave him. The UFC has to do something to make us believe that Franklin has a chance against Silva in the rematch.
