I got a question mark on rampage cause i think he'll return along with chuck..but then again they replaced that lost with tito and vitor. The u may have hendo and rich franklin in the mix at lhw.

Rich Franklin won't be much of a threat at LHW. On the other hand Rampage might return but I can't see Liddell coming back. And Vitor Belfort is back for good..

I cant believe that people arent giving the welterweights any love on this thread. I realize that GSP is in a class all his own, but if you think about it this might be the toughest division in the world to try and break into. I can only think of one guy outside of the UFC that might have a chance to come into this division and make any sort of noise and that is Jake Shields. I honestly dont see anyone other not already in the UFC besides Shields that would really stand a snowballs chance in hell against the top six guys in this division. Even the guys that are on the ouside looking in when it comes to the title picture in the UFC are still pretty solid.

Totally agree. Pretty much EVERY top WW in the world is in the UFC, especially with Shields going up to MW. The only other guy outside of the UFC that I would like to see in the octagon is Zaromskis, but he probably wouldn't have much of a chance against any of the great wrestlers in the division.

In terms of depth:

LHW
LW
WW
MW
HW

HW is a lot better than it was but it still has far less depth than the other divisions (and always will). How on earth could anyone rank HW above WW? There are still multiple top 10 guys in the HW division that aren't in the UFC. In WW there is maybe one.
