It's very difficult to understand what Rampage's beef is. He was scheduled to fight in December and he dropped out to film a movie. This is obviously going to upset his employer.

All of this stuff about his jaw injury and having his feelings hurt because he watched the A team with his daddy is all just noise.

Rampage is really confused right now and comes across as if he is rationalizing his somewhat irresponsible, largely inexplicable actions.

Hopefully he'll get his act together and do some work in the octagaon (again).

you find his choice to take a big hollywood film, starring with Liam Neeson and Jessica Biel, inexplicable? It was obvious to me why he took it, money, fame, career after fighting career ends...

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

While it was already rather clear, I think this just proves that Rampage needs to be going to a psychologist more than anything (I would hope he already is). He clearly has some family issues and daddy issues that he should be sharing with a shrink instead of via blog.

The preceding message is simply the opinion of the poster.

I'm taking Page's blog entries with a grain of salt and imo he'll be back to fighting in the UFC by spring/summer 2010.

For me, this shines a new light on Rampage as a person. In fact, it makes me regret some of the assumptions I made about thinking he was mentally done with the sport. I'd like to see Rampage compete again, but ultimately the decision is his. I truly believe we'll see Rampage back in the ring after his movie, but we'll see. It seems like he was more upset about Dana's conduct. It seems like he felt it was a personal attack against himself.
