I truly doubt Evans is counting his blessings. The two were scheduled to fight for the longest time, and all of a sudden, it's off. Why would Evans not speak out on the matter? He clearly wants a piece of Jackson, and here's what old Rampage need remember. Evans isn't the one who decided to film a movie and subsequently retire before stepping foot into the Octagon. I like Rampage, but for him to claim that Evans is all talk, and is probably thanking his lucky stars, when it appears as though Jackson has done everything in his power to put this fight off is... well... ridiculous. If Jackson insists on continuing with the banter, he knows where the cage is. |

Isn't the Wolfslair gym in England? If it is then why does the article say they were "on location" in Vancouver?
I don't like MMABay, mostly because they are much like the National Inquirer of MMA. They've "reported" some less-than-legit stuff.
That aside, Rampage didn't say anything here different than what he said in his blog post. He mentions he would fight Rashad for free and that Rashad likes to play with his nipples. That's about it.

I was under the impression Jackson let Machida fight ahead of him because he was nursing injuries at the time. I don't know. We're hearing all sorts of different angles and stories these past few days. All I know is that it's a tad silly for Jackson to claim that Rashad probably thinks himself lucky, and that he's all talk when Rampage is seemingly the one running for the hills. I think I'll make this movie. I think I'll retire. All this after the UFC has sunk millions into his feud with Evans, as well as TUF 10. I mean, how does that look, really? |
