I don't see that many people making it out to be great. I'm definitely not. It's kind of like yeah he has mediocre cardio, but he turned Frank Mir's face into mush in the last fight so clearly he's doing something right. Everybody's got weaknesses, for GSP it's his hands, for Silva it's his TDD. Until someone finds a way to exploit those weaknesses and win, they will be ignored by most people.

Assuming Brock doesn't have a 5 round gas tank, I don't see Big Nog being able to handle 5 rounds of Lesnar Punishment.

I think Brock has the best cardio of all HWs in the UFC. He already went 3 rounds without gassing. He was sweating and all, but when the fight was over he was dancing around laughing and you don't do that when you're gassed. I'm actually pretty condident that he won't gas until round 5, especially if he's on top all the time. And if he is, there will not be a fifth round.

Why does no one ever bring that up?

GSP got stuffed by Serra once or twice in the second fight. It doesn't mean he isn't an unstoppable TD machine, it just means he took a bad shot.

Brock wouldn't need gas for five rounds. He'd finish either fighter in 2. Dos Santos beat an old Cro Cop, and Nog decisioned an old Couture, a legendary fighter but one whos been finished nine times. Either one would resemble hamberger meat after Brock finished with them.

I agree. There have been posts about this before, I can't remember exactly where. The simple fact is lung capacity can't keep up with muscle mass. A guy lesnar's size can train cardio as much as he wants, it will never be as good as a smaller fighter. He simply has too much muscle to ever have really good cardio, the best he could do would be average. Muscle mass like that needs way more oxygen than human lungs can deliver adequately for 25 minutes of fighting.
I'm not saying he won't beat Nog or Dos Santos, but if anyone could get him to the 4th or 5th rounds, he will gas and gas bad.

Lesnar's mouth was agape and he was gassing in round 2 against Couture.
Nog will take his belt.

I don't see Nog being able to handle two rounds of Lesnar punishment, but all I'm doing is speculating. The truth has yet to be revealed, but I definitely don't think Nog will have the ability to take Lesnar into the deeper rounds.

You're obviously new to MMA so I'm going to help you out. Go here and watch some of the battles and wars Nogueira has been in against fighters far superior to Brock friggen flavor of the month Lesnar. Then once you've learned how moronic your comment was come back and delete your account and start over.
