KIMBO SLICE has heaped praise on Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson's coaching abilities.

Miami native Slice, 35, is one of 16 heavyweight contestants currently battling to win a contract in the UFC as part of The Ultimate Fighter 10 reality series.

The YouTube brawler said: "I'm learning a lot. I'm a sponge. I'm here to learn as well as fight."

And team captain Jackson, a former UFC light-heavyweight champion, claims he a Slice are similar characters.

He said: "I see myself in Kimbo.

"He's a bit like me when I first started out fighting. I've got a lot of faith in Kimbo."

Elsewhere in TV's toughest house, other fighters are desperate for an opportunity to knockout the cocksure former street-fighter.

Fellow housemate Roy Nelson admits: "Everyone would like to beat up Kimbo. I've been trying to get that one for years."

This week's episode sees Britain's James McSweeney — coached by Rashad Evans — take on Jackson's fighter Wes Shivers.

Every single decision Rampage has made so far this season has been wrong. Ken Shamrock was pretty bad as a coach and he looks like Greg Jackson next to Rampage on TUF 10.

Don't quit your day job Rampage...oh wait. You did.

Kimbo would have been much better off on Rashad's side getting coaching from Greg Jackson.
