Of course the numbers are driven by Kimbo, but my point is that viewers tuning in to see Kimbo will no doubt find Rampage damn amusing. Combined with the "Thats the dude whos gonna play BA" factor... all adds up to some juicy cross promotion.

but every mma fan already knows he is going to play BA baracus and the fairweathers that were only watching (TUF) for kimbo might not even know (or care) about an A-team movie..The only reason its such a big deal to us is because we are mma fans that know rampage is going to be in it..

To Live is 2 suffer, 2 survive? well that is 2 find meaning in the suffering

Yes, in a thoroughly great and enthralling way.

Growing up ghetto, my families TV had 3 viewable channels. A-Team was the only show I was able to "follow" as a kid (4-5 yrs old). I didn't understand it, but i knew I liked it somehow.

Someone mentioned "no mohawk, that's lame" Agreed and where's the 300lbs of gold chains?

Think about it dude. The only time we see Rampage usually is fighting. We don't usually get to see his great personality except in short pre/post fight videos. The people who hired him for the movie must know that your average Joe would be like Rampage-who? Exposing him to the public on TUF has given the viewers a big dose of Rampage the man rather than the fighter. Whatever way you look at it, you cant deny that Rampage will be better known for being on TUF then if he wasn't.

For example, I had zero interest in the new A-Team movie. None at all. However, watching Rampage on TUF has thoroughly amused me and now I'm curious. So even from the perspective of an MMA fan who is familiar with Rampage, him being on TUF has sparked interest in the film.

To think that TUF and the film have no relevance to each other is wrong. I've worked enough in marketing and media to know that this kind of promotion is perfect for all parties.
