Not a good situation for Tito to be in. If he gives the guy money he looks like a douchebag, and a dumbass for trying to look good in front of the cameras. If he doesn't, people like us view him as a selfish asshole. There wasn't really a good way to handle this situation, so I think he did the right thing by acknowledging the man and actually talking to him. Most people would ignore stupid shit like that.

I never give money to beggars. Most of them do not want to work.

This thread is really, really sad. Why does I feel like a bunch of you have never stopped to think about how you would feel if you were in a homless person's position. Further more, not all people are homeless because "they are lazy" or "don't want to work" and to think so is very ignorant.

There is a dude that lost his house in New Orleans and is psychotic so he can't work. It'd be great if you know, someone paid for him to see a doctor and paid for his prescription meds, but it's just not going to happen. You guys are saying I shouldn't give him an extra couple of bucks so I don't have to get a $15 cup of coffee at Starbucks? I don't get it.

I would be homeless if I hadn't worked my ass off with pay my bills and saved money. Never had any support from anyone.

Besides I know because people in my entourage did the "test" and asked a few of them if they wanted a job... without success.

I live in Montréal.

No. Give him a 100$ bucks, but the point is, you choose either to give gim money or not, and it's not our job to actually do it, so calling Tito a dick for not giving him money is stupid. EVERYONE has they're chances in life, if you don't use them, it's your fault, not ours.

My parents both grew up in the projects in Queens and the Bronx, they had to work hard as shit too, borrow shit tons of money to get through school....why would this mean they don't give to people that need it?

I didn't say all homeless people weren't lazy, but the ones I have encountered, usually, have mental issues or drug problems and not the funds to deal with both. Also, I would be wary if a random person on the street asked me to do a job for them.

My main issue is the way Tito treated the dude, knowing it was going to be on tele. I figured that since if he really did come from the streets, he would be more apt to give somebody else money. I also disagree that everyone has their "chances in life".
