kind of thing.

Hey, I wouldn't mind seeing UFC guys get paid better, but things are coming along. If they got boxing money, there would be no UFC by now.

and if ufc fighters made boxing money the whole sport would change, it would turn into an orgy of greed and no one would fight anymore except once a year, we wouldn't get any of the fights we want to see, we would be left in the dark for eternity leaving dream matches up to our imagination because we would never see them happen and mma fighters would trash talk every other sport because they would think that somehow they are better at life than everyone else because theyre rich

I think it's obvious when some fighters have better promotional sponsors. For example, you can't open a fight magazine or half of the fitness magazines without seeing Marquardt or Forrest.

"On October 11, 2007, Couture announced that he was severing all ties with the UFC, leaving two contracted fights, a position as an on-air analyst, and his heavyweight championship behind. Reportedly he received $250,000 plus $936,000 of PPV revenue for his comeback against Tim Sylvia. He also reportedly received a $250,000 purse for defeating Gabriel Gonzaga, as well as a $35,000 bonus for "Fight of the Night" and $787,000 in PPV revenue.[18] This became a sticking point since Chuck Liddell lost his two previous fights yet is still being paid a higher amount, according to Couture."

I love how when this topic comes up people just start to fabricate things out of thin air! It is awsome!
