I see Nog taking this easily. I know it's MMA math but it's sort of applicable when both of the matches were full on toolings.

Randy SCHOOLED Gonzaga every round stand up and ground... Nog schooled Couture every round stand up and ground. How does Gonzaga win this?

Nog is quickly becoming the most underrated fighter in MMA. Is Gonzaga even ranked top 10 any more? IIRC Nog is top 4.

I don't think anyone here said Gabe is going to yoink the HW belt anytime soon, but instead stated that he is bad match up for Nog. Like Mir he is bigger and stronger than Nog with atleast as good if not better stand up and solid enough ground game to atleast avoid subs from Nog if not even finish him if he sets it up by dropping Nog first with a punch or kick.
If anything I think Gabe is underrated just because he lost couple fights against huge underdogs. He can cause alot of problems to any HW in world at the moment and I wouldn't be surprised if he actually bounced back up with a win off Nog and got a shot at Brock after Carwin and Cain.
The only thing that Gonzaga has ever done worth noting is head kick Cro Cop. That kick made him supposedly one of the best fighters in the world. Every other decent fighter he has fought he has lost too and Couture made him look like a fool.

Nog is a top notch fighter that has hung with the best multiple times. He would not get beat no matter where the fight goes like some other people seem to think.

This is shaping up to be a great card!!!

The Nog fight will be decided by striking. I think both of these guys are great on the ground and that will cancel out the ground game. I will take Gonzo by headkick, I think it will take about 4 of them though

I'd pick Gonzaga if he comes in with a sprawl and brawl gameplan because IMO he can put Nogueira out if he carefully picks his shots (head kicks, straight rights, superman punches, low kicks). Nogueira looked very stationary against Couture, granted he won but he'll more than likely be looking the same against Gonzaga and we all know Napao hits like a meteor. Minotauro's ability to take shots is deceasing with every fight since his UFC debut.

I love Nogueira but this fight is a make it or break it for him.
