I say Diego will have the biggest 07 but that is coz I am a fan. GSP could very well kick everyones ass and keep the belt for a while.
Another question. With the WW division as competitive as it is, do you think it will change the the way we American audiences tend to write someone off after a loss?

I think you are right. I think Diego will have a big 2007. People are going to tune in to watch whether or not he gets his first lose. And with the big KO agianst Riggs I'll bet all the (T)KO fans will start watching him more. This is going to make for a bigger paycheck for him...and more add promotions for his fights. He is also improving and he will continue to improve win or lose.
Side note: I think this is Fitch's coming out year. I think Jon is going to be the man to watchout for in '08. He's had some big wins agianst some great up-and-coming fighters to the UFC. Kuniyoshi Hironaka, Thiago Alves, Brock Larson, and Jeff Joslin...to name a few.
To the last question: By far. With the level that is rising in the WW's I have a feeling that one of two things will happen. 1.) Fighters loses will begin to be seen as marks of "honor". I say honor because for a lot of the big name fights that exist now (regardless of weight class) some people tend to say "Well he has won agianst so-and-so but he's only losed to the
very elite /
top tier in the organization. I think that will start to trickle down to more and more fights in the WW. 2.)I think more fighter contracts will be on the line. With such a great line up of fighters one of two things will happen here. a.)The fighters stand a better chance of not being resigned or going in under a one fight deal (pay per fight). and/or b.)The fighters will not be getting paid the money they do/think they do deserve and will look for contracts in other organizations.
