Chuck Liddell hints at return to the UFC
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and current Dancing With The Stars champion-to-be (probably not true, but that would be kinda cool) Chuck Liddell was on Good Day L.A. yesterday to talk about his dancing and MMA careers respectively. While one seems to be off to a Good start, the other seems to be in a state of flux. We all know that UFC President Dana White and Liddell have gone back and forth over the last few months on whether or not “The Icemen” will ever return to the Octagon, but Liddell appears to be of the thinking that his fighting career has not yet seen it’s end. Here is what Liddell had to say to the Good Day L.A. crew.
“After this [Dancing With The Stars] I’m gonna spend some time with my kids, because I’ve been away for a while, and then I’ll talk to Dana, I’ll talk to my trainer and we’ll see what we’re gonna do,” Liddell said.
Speaking to White’s hesitation to let him fight again, Liddell had this to say. “It’s not completely up to him, we’re gonna argue about it. I still think I’ve got something left. If he can convince me I don’t, maybe I’ll retire. Maybe I can convince him I still got something left and I want to fight. We’ll see what I gotta do to convince Dana. I’m gonna work at it real hard.”
Got this from nodq.com
I would love to see him back, K.O someone and then retire.

LMAO at Chuck making the cut to 185. If anything he should move up to HW where he would have a speed advantage over most of the fighters there. Also styles make fights and the HW division looks a bit like LHW in Chuck's prime. A lot of ground fighters with no elite strikers other than Kongo.
I would love to see Chuck vs Cro Cop; they're about the same size and the fight is almost guaranteed to end with a vicious KO.

Chuck has lost alot of weight during his dance training and walks at around 210 or even less now, he could prolly make MW for his next fight if he wanted to. I agree HW has couple nice fights for him, but I think MW would have even more of those.

He needs to tell his trainer that he's leaving him and getting a new one. He hasn't learned anything new from The Pit, nor has he learned from his mistakes,

Not everyone is like Coture and can fight forever lol. Chuck is already 39, and the losses he's been taking has probably effected him mentally. I dont think he is in his prime anymore, and should think about his decision. Anyone agree with me?

IMO Chuck gets knocked out by any MW in the top 5.
Silva would absolutely murder him.
Marquartd is a younger more well rounded version of Chuck, plus Greg Jackson is the guy that exposed Chuck's weakness in the first place.
Henderson vs a prime Chuck would be an interesting fight as they both just threw leather and relied on granite chins. The Chuck of today would most likely get KO'd the first time Hendo hit him with the big right.
Belfort is just too quick for Chuck.
