I find it extremely hard to believe that Junie did not have access to some of the best possible mental health professionals. He has to want to help himself, and if he doesn't, then that is his problem.
Bi-polar is very serious, and VERY treatable and VERY common.
Sure, friends and family suffer, but I can assure you they do not suffer as much as the person with bi-polar. Your comments about "culling from the gene pool" were insensitive, ignorant, hypocritical and offensive.

I for one hope that Junie can get well and find some peace/happiness. He's definitely got talent, and underneath all that crazy bullshit, I'm sure there's a good guy just waiting to come out and be all he can be. I for one, will be rooting for him.
