wonder if this has to do with the newfound popularity in the mainstream and perhaps getting more exciting fights + 3 extra rows for fans in the most expensive seats?
I think if most ppl are completely honest with themselves, the UFC ring and rules benefit wrestlers more then anybody.

I never thought there was anything wrong with the octagon the way it is, no reason to change it.

I dont like it when fighters are encouraged to do anything, they should have as much space as they need, there should be nothing that gives more advantage to certain fighters ie. small cage is better for strikers.

I like the cage as it is. Making it smaller would benifit wrestlers and BJJ fighters too much. The rules already lean in their favor as they are.

grossssssssss. I wish that fights were started in the middle of a soccer field, f*ck cage walls.
When I watch fights in a smaller cage, I almost feel claustrophobic. And I really feel like the general public still has a hookup with the whole fighting in a CAGE thing, and I feel like a smaller cage will appear more barbaric to some new viewers.
Maybe I'm overreacting.

I actually agree with this. I didn't vote yes or no but seeing a few sample fights would give me a better perspective if it's a good or bad idea.

That's pretty much how I feel.
If anything, they should consider getting rid of the octagon and replacing it with a nice ring. Please no neg reps for blasphemy.
