FIGHTER OF THE YEAR
Georges St. Pierre for dominating BJ Penn and Thiago Alves in a way that most would have thought impossible.
FIGHT OF THE YEAR
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Randy Couture at UFC 102 Though all the choices were great I think the hype surrounding this along with the fact that they really did deliver 3 great rounds def makes this my choice.
KO OF THE YEAR
Rashad Evans vs. Chuck Liddell at UFC 88To me the only choices were this and Hendo KOing Bisping but I give the edge to Rashad due to strength of opponent and the pure velocity of that overhand right.
SUBMISSION OF THE YEAR
Demian Maia vs. Chael Sonnen at UFC 95Not the flashiest of the year but considering he got the td into position for a triangle and tapped him almost as soon as the fight hit the ground I give it to Maia for sheer dominance.
BEST PROMOTION
UFCDoesn't really need an explanation.
LEADING MAN OF THE YEAR
Dana White, UFC presidentHe may make a lot of people angry but he puts on so many good fights every year I think he will pretty much win this award almost every year for the next 10.
EUROPEAN FIGHTER OF THE YEAR
Gegard MousasiI kno Fedor is the popular choice but we kno Fedor and he wasn very active anyway. Mousasi was dominating and exciting but unknown to many including myself. I feel that his performances have earned him some of the popularity he deserves and I therefore give this award to him.
BREAKTHROUGH FIGHTER OF THE YEAR
Brock LesnarBrock dominated 3 quality opponents on his way to becoming the Undisputed UFC HW Champ.
FEMALE FIGHTER OF THE YEAR
Cristiane “Cyborg” SantosThe first ever mainstream Women's champion after dominating my future wife Gina Carano.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Greg JacksonJackson always has his guys in big fights and continues to therefore boost the popularity of his gym which allows him to increase his star roster which now includes Jon Jones and Carlos Condit.
GYM OF THE YEAR
Black House MMAMachida and Anderson Silva have been the 2 most dominant fighters in the world and are both world champions. When you add Junior Dos Santos and the legendary Nog brothers its hard to deny that this is the most talented gym in the world.

Yeah gotta second that, plus Silva moved weight and dominated an ex champ out of his usual comfort zone, hence my pick for fighter of the year. Despite the snooze fest against Leites that is.
