He changed his tune a bit after the loss to Brett. I would hope that was just bullshit though because I think its definitely time the Pitbull got his ass back in the octagon.
As some have said, working with Team Jackson likely won't improve AA's already superb standup but it would be effective in improving his gameplans and hopefully that tiny little dropping the hands issue Overall, very good news, now we just need to hear from Dana...

I have to agree about AA not having such a glass chin. I mean the shot he took from Fedor would probaby KO almost anyone lol expect for Mark hunt. :P
OUCH>
.
Solid bombs landed flush on his chin. Good night! Keep the hands up AA and you should be fine!

That Gif is painful. I think any normal mortal would've had a similar reaction to those bombs.

I think Andrei's boxing was real impressive in the Fedor fight, before he made the mistake of trying for that knee. I would love to see him fight s'more.

I would love to have seen what would have happened if Arlovski hadnt gone for that knee. Poor judgement call Andrei, who knows what could have been...

^ I second that notion, he was beating Fedor on the feet until he when for that uber knee.
I would like to see him back in the UFC, his run through the UFC 40's and 50's was very entertaining to watch.

That uppercut from Fedor and combo from Rogers were nasty. I doubt many of the fighters with "iron chin" could have survived from them either.
Either way this is a good move for Arlovski, personally I would like to see him signing with them permanently because as mentioned already his skill set isn't the thing that needs improving. Jackson's cornering, game plans and crazy voodoo magic play much bigger role than his actual camps (which are high level too) for fighters that already got their game polished so well.

It should help em mentally hopefully cuz Jackson is a very cerebral trainer. Very scientific in his approach. Ever since he got KOed by Tim he played it safe. Then once he built his confidence back up he went a winning streak only to get KOed. He looked extremely tentative vs Rogers. As a Samba champ he should have immediately took him down or side stepped him. It was kinda sad to watch that fight. Hopefully he will be back in top form.

Agreed. His chin is medium at worse...

... his defence is actually quite good 90% of the time. But that 10% hurts like a muthafukker.
On a side note. That gif is painful in the extreme. How completely f**king shit is Rogers boxing?! It's sooo bad and yet Arlovski still got done. Awful awful defense from both fighters. Thats the first time ive seen that clip from that angle and I'm now convinced Brett is going to get melted down against Fedor.

just wait til arvloski comes back to the ufc, dominates the whole heavyweight division and knocks out lesnar, than puts his foot on his chest and shows his fangs, this quickly replaces the famous muhammad ali picture of him knocking out sonny liston in the first round, which is hung up in every gym across america. then after his thurst is quenched for ufc gold he kills all of fedors management one by one making them look like freak accidents, gets fedor to come to the ufc, and breaks his neck during the second round with an uppercut that some swear scraped the canvas of the octagon before landing flush against fedors bottom jaw!
