I dont think the size of gloves will matter when you are on your back and not punching.

Doesnt make any sense what so ever. I like Carwin alot but I dont buy into all the nice guy crap. Nice guys can be erogant assholes too, but in a nice sweet way.

and of course you know this from experience, right? and you also know shane had no offers from D1 schools, right? no you don't know so don't act like you do.

You guys are getting too caught in this Div 1 vs. Div 2 stuff. It doesn't really matter. Brock hasn't even wrestled in like 10 years and when it comes to MMA, straight wrestling doesn't mean you are the better fighter and there are alternative ways to be a good wrestler. Look at Sherk. Was he a college wrestling champ? No, he wrestled in high school and he is one of the best wrestlers in the UFC. GSP didn't wrestle at all in high school or college I believe and he maybe the best wrestler in the UFC. Matt Hamill? Div 3 wrestler. Randy is an Olympic wrestler and he's lost fights on the ground (according to his record/older fights). Matt Hughes is a Div 1 wrestler and he has a win and a loss to GSP, so what does that tell you?

It tells me that some athletes have natural gifts that mesh perfectly with their chosen sport, or sometimes any sport?
