No he isn't. Carwin's a big dude, but he's not as big as Lesnar. That'll be evident at the weigh-in.

It's not only Lesnar's strength that wins him fights. You don't win a Heavyweight title on Strength and strength alone in mma. He's got brilliant Wrestling skills, incredible takedown speed and then once he's got you down that's when the strength plays a part. I don't think Carwin will be able to handle Lesnar. In Carwin's 3 fights in the UFC, I've noticed a pattern. He starts slowly, looks very stiff in the striking, gets rocked with a big shot (even Neil Wain rocked him with a big right), manages to recover and then gets 1 punch through to win the fight. I don't see Brock giving Carwin time to recover, or time to get warmed up into the fight. I see it being over, with Brock laying down Ground and Pound before Carwin's had a chance to get settled.

Unless Carwin's worked incredibly hard on his striking, to improve his stiffness and defence of shots, I don't see anyway he can possibly win the fight.

Carwin will come in at nearly the same weight as lesnar, carwin also has less body fat than lesnar. Carwin has benched 600+ pounds, lesnar has never been proven to bench that much.

take away brocks strength advantage and what does he have? The whole point of wrestling is to be stronger than your opponent. And its only going to take 1 punch from carwin to send brock flying.

Brock is heavier and has skinny legs, he has more upper body muscle and is simply stronger. You'll see this at the weigh-in. Carwin benches 600? How much you think he'll bench after a round with Lesnar after he's gassed.

As for your last comment, OK Brock has beaten Randy, Mir and Herring but he doesn't even deserve to be in the UFC, yeah ok.

Brock is heavier because he has some chub, carwin has none. Carwin has more muscle mass and is stronger than lesnar...its just a fact.

And beating a 40 year old couture, and not even being able to finish a can like herring does not make you special. He has 1 good win, beating down frank mir.

Carwin doesn't even have 1 then, as I wouldn't rank Gonzaga in the same league as Mir or Couture. Lesnar comprehensively dominated Mir as well. Carwin was almost knocked out by Gonzaga, his eyes certainly seemed to roll back in his head for a few seconds. He was lucky that Gonzaga didn't jump on the oppurtunity and finish him.

If Gonazaga can take Carwin down, why the hell can't Brock? Plus anyone who thinks Carwin is stronger is just plain wrong, its a fact not an opinion. All there is to the fight, Brock wins, unless he's stupid on the feet.
