He looks like he's been doing this for a lot longer than he has. He's a freak athlete, it has to be said.

I'm surprised that there are as many Carwin supporters among the mma community (although this thread has mostly Lesnar supporters). I mean what does Carwin have that would give Lesnar problems? People say he is strong and has great wrestling skills--there isn't much proof from his fights to show anything other than having big hands fighting cans (other than Gonzaga, who out-classed him and would have beat Carwin had it not been for his willingness to stand and trade).

This is not a new video it is one before Mir 2. So Brock has probaly gotten better since this video. So does anyone have good training videos of Carwin? I hope Brock beats him bad.

Well traditionally when two wrestlers get in the cage even if there skills are somewhat lopsided they still cancel eachother out and 99.9% of these fights end up striking battles.

I would say its fairly obvious that Carwin's striking is more fundamentally sound although he's not a technical striker he's still a better striker.

Dont get me wrong I think Brocks size and reach offsets some or most of this but if this was a pure boxing match Id be picking Carwin all day long. Thing is its not boxing and Carwin has to overcome reach, size and still keep one eye open for the takedown so his striking might suffer, we wont know till the fight happens but I think Brock will win however, I can see how people would feel Carwin has an advantage standing.
