When he says he trains twice a day seven days a week... is that like, all the time?! Damn, that's dedication.
He mentions Fitch being his toughest fight, but I don't believe that. I think the first fight with Penn was really tough for him. He had an interview before the second fight where he admitted he was scared after round one and needed to really step up his game, which he did. After that round the old GSP died and the new mega version has been demolishing everything since. Since that second fight relations have soured somewhat. No way GSP will give Penn any credit or respect from now on.
He mentions Silva, but looks really reluctant about the weight thing. He didn't look happy about going up to MW in my opinion.
I like GSP but it seems like he is more worried about having a bad day, instead of doing something that challenges his normal day. It's nice to be up on top, but I would like to see him challenge himself more just like Silva is doing by moving up a weight class occasionally.
I think his style is so well suited for WW that I can't really imagine anyone currently in the weight class beating him. Obviously Serra already has, but comparing the GSP of then to the one of now would just be a showcase of ignorance. I think Georges work ethic is probably the most well-known in the sport. A lot of people talk about it, and I can't help but think that is one of the major factors of his dominance, his will.
I don't see anyone beating GSP anytime soon, at welter weight. I think a bigger weight class where he'd have to worry about heavier hands would be interesting to see him in, but I'm not so sure we ever will.
I like the fact that he is willing to admit to uncertainty and even fear at times. Most fighters have this absurd over the top "I can't be beat/I'll never quit" attitude that betrays their insecurity. I think fighters that are honest about it will perform better because they are able to admit flaws and work to fix those flaws rather than staying in denial.
His Fitch fight was obviously not his toughest fight. It can't be anything other than GSP-Penn I. I'm not sure why he won't say that, OP is probably right and it has something to do with him disliking BJ.
I'd say Fitch was probably his toughest fight not because Fitch gave him the biggest physical challenge. It's because GSP was probably very disheartened that he couldn't finish the fight.

I know what you mean, but you have to look it from the other side - the thing with Silva is that he is a very big MW, but GSP, well.. I wouldn't say small, but he is definatley not the biggest guys in the WW division.
I have no doubt that he trains 7 days a week, but one of those days has to be easier. Even elite athletes have to allow a little time for muscle recovery.
I think it's assured that he'll be a mentor in the sport after his fight career is over.
Why has the video been removed? I really want to watch it
