So Anderson is training boxing with Freddie Roach......that worked well for Andrei Arlovski, and before you say Andrei has a glass jaw, the fundamental rule in boxing is protect your face, this is something that roach should have fixed.....

This footage doesn't impress me as we dont know the caliber of fighter he is in there with....

This video is sort of old. He's not really outboxing that guy very much. And we later found out that fighter is a can who has a bad tendency of walking with his hands down.

Can anyone find the boxer's name?

The guy Mousasi is sparring has had 29 matches. I believe we found out before that Silva's opponent was 4-4 I think?

More proof that Mousasi is superior to Anderson.

I can't believe people are suggesting that anyone is superior to Anderson Silva. Mousasi may be a better boxer but what people forget is that A.Silva knows better than anyone in the LHW division to employ his Muay Thai skills. Mousasi would be tooled--hell, Machida could tool Mousasi and even I know Machida isn't on A.Silva's level (even though I am a Machida nuthugger).

Yeah, comparing Mousasi to Anderson at this point is a little silly. Anderson has faced and destroyed much better competition. I also dont belive for a second that Mousasi is anywhere near the striker that Silva is, and yes i did see how Mousasi tooled Musashi in K1.

Add on top of that Silva's cement chin and his ability to submit even the best grapplers with his long-legs. Mousasi will probably be at that level but he's 24-25 and hasn't faced any top 10 competition.

Freddie Roach didn't tell Arlovski to throw that stupid knee. From what I remember, Arlovski was winning the fight up untill that.

Don't know what you guys are seeing. Clearly, Mousasi is superior BECAUSE he sparred against a better boxer. Oh, and he fights outside the UFC. If that's not proof I don't know what is.

This. Anyone can outbox A boxer. Heck, I outboxed Glass Joe just this morning . Doesn't mean that Anderson could hang with Boxing legends like Roy Jones Jr. in their own element. Silva's primary weapon in the cage has been his Muay Thai clinch/knees and kicks. I doubt he's as hot against other elite punchers without those elements of his game.
