Oh well, worse things have happened in the UFC. Dan already lost to the Champ, its not one of those "we will never know" situations, we already know.

Yeah, its not exactly heartbreaking but disappointing nonetheless. Might make for some interesting fights elsewhere though I suppose if this is in fact the end of Dan's UFC career.

Meh, never had a thing for Hendo. He's a great fighter, just never did it for me. It sucks that the UFC is losing a solid talent, but that is about it.

He actually said it over a month ago, but for some unknown reason, an MMA site posted it yesterday as if it was breaking news.

That being said, I think White is just calling Henderson's bluff. We'll see what happens.

i'm really excited about the possible showdown between strikeforce and ufc. i think dana did the right thing by not paying fighters huge amounts of money in the beginning so he could actually save some money up to bring other elite level fighters into the ufc and then market them to the USA and bring in more fans to make even more off of ppv's. unfortunately, he's got all the proven fighters he needs. he just needs to find new talent but this deal with hendo doesn't mean a thing to me. hendo is 39 years old and won't be doing anything as far as challenging for the title while anderson is champ.

couture needs to retire. him surviving three rounds does not make him a capable fighter. hendo might have a good two years left but that's it. if he leaves, it will just be coker bowing down to hendo and paying him what he wants. this november card for strikeforce hands down will be the biggest ratings success in mma history but can you imagine how much all of it's going to cost?

note: the couture comment is not random. it's just there for whoever wants to argue that hendo can still fight at a high level past 40

see if vitor wins the title from Anderson (which i think is very slim) it would make thing interesting if dan is with strike force. Considering that vitor got his ass whooped by dan already and overseem twice.

Dang he's already 39. Seriously, Dan, it's ether Strikeforce or Dancing With The Stars. You're a legend, but it's time to move on.
