I dunno though, GSP is a much better wrestler than Fitch so it's hard to tell. Thiago's TDD was somewhat over rated after the Kos fight but I still think he can stuff the majority of Fitch's shots.

Even if he gets TD'd, I see him getting up quickly, not letting Fitch control and GnP him (in other words not scoring much points).

GSP top game is one of the best in the sport and he struggled to keep Thiago down. GSP's top game >>>> than Fitch's imo.

When he talked about his "tricks" I think he meant on the ground (btw I disagree that Thiago didn't think he'd get TD'd, I think he did, but just not as much as he thought). Alves was training with GSP's former BJJ coach (Fabiola) so he knew how GSP passed guard, controlled from the top etc... Regardless I was pretty impressed with his ability to getting back up to his feet. I can't see Fitch controlling him for too long tbh. Even Hughes had a hard time getting anything done on top of him.

I hear ya I think your prob right. Only thing go back find the countdown fr the Thiago GSP fight and almost verbatim what i quoted above he stated and he meant from having GSP shoot in like the dominant wrestler he is and try to take him down, and being able to defend that as to avoid being on his back.....

Otherwise you may be very right about Fitch not being able to control Thiago, like I always say, he lives down here I see him out he is a big boy.....I could take him who the hell am I kidding I'm no CharlieZ.....
