Anderson reiterates he WILL NOT fight Lyoto
http://middleeasy.com/index.php?opti...hters#comments
"There isn’t that possibility. I’m Lyoto’s friend, I like him a lot, and I think it’s hard for anyone to beat him. There is no money that will make me fight him. Dana White can forget about that...I´m very happy with my belt, I don’t need more belts."

Damn it I cant stand fighters like this. Get of your fn high horse and give the fans what they want to see. After the fight and even during the fight your still friends. Its a game or sport however you want to call. doesnt everyone play some type of sports or games against their friends. Its the same shit people. If you didnt want the chance of fighting a friends maybe you picked the wrong sport. I can understand if one friend was a superior champion and the other a average contender, then ya you dont fight each other. But when theres a debate who could possibly be the best fighter on the planet and a simple 15 minutes of your time can decide it then damn it you better make it happen. Well I guess michael Jordan shouldnt of tried to score when he was on the bulls, it wouldnt be fair of him to hurt Scottie pippens fellings for not scoring as much since they were firends. Im sick of this pussification.

I think he's afraid, I've never heard Lyoto say they wouldn't fight. The idea has been out there for a while and Anderson's been the only naysayer. I honestly think Anderson thinks he can't win in that fight.

your wrong Lyoto gives the notion that Anderson is like his brother so he wont fight him and i respect that, some fight out of heart and therefore it just wont be the same fighting there friends and family.

sure he said they are close, but he never said they wouldn't fight, or I've missed the quote. Who knows, maybe he thinks the best should fight the best, Lyoto wants to test himself against lesnar just so he can push himself. I don't see why he wouldn't think fighting anderson would be a test.

Then G....T....F....O of the LHW division. What the HELL are you doing in that division if you have no intention of fighting for the belt? Just thought you go up and screw up Griffen's chance of getting another title shot. I hate fighters who are unprofessional (which I think refusing to fight someone is) and it is even worse when you are assing around in another division. Stay at MW then ffs, this is so dumb.
Seriously, what is the point of winning a bunch of fights, getting in the top 10, and then saying I won't fight for the belt? Idiotic.

Kind of a poor analogy, these guys are more than old friends, they train together every day. If one of them left Black House I could see it happening but it makes absolutely no sense to break up their amazing training team just to "give the fans what they want". Just accept FFS.

I believe Lyoto said in a recent interview that he would not fight Anderson. I can't find it for you but if someone else can confirm this true or false that would be awesome.
And I understand Anderson not wanting to fight Lyoto. Especially if the belt was at stake considering that would make it look like Anderson moved up a weight class just to take his close friend's belt. Still, it sucks that we won't get to see this fight happen. Personally, I would pick Anderson to win this one .
