Martin Kampmann Vs. Rory Markham At UFC 108

According to MMAJunkie, a welterweight bout between Martin Kampmann (15-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) and Rory Markham (16-5 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is in the works for UFC 108. Here is the rumored card, for the event, which is expected to take place on January 2nd from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

- Champ Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort (for middleweight title)*
- Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva*
- Junior Dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga*
- Carlos Condit vs. Paul Daley*
- Tyson Griffin vs. Jim Miller*
- Martin Kampmann vs. Rory Markham*
- Joe Lauzon vs. Sam Stout*
- Dan Lauzon vs. Cole Miller*
- Ryan Jensen vs. Mark Munoz*
- Jake Ellenberger vs. Mike Pyle*

This card is badass. Kampmann disappointed me alot in his last fight...hope he comes back strong he's one of my faves.

I don't really understand why they set up Condit vs Daley. It's an exciting matchup and all but it doesn't make sense to me. Kampmann beat Condit and just lost to Semtex. Now Semtex is gonna fight the guy Kampmann beat. I know Condit has won a fight since then, but wasn't it a split decision that coulda went either way? Just doesn't seem like Daley is moving up the ladder, ranking wise.

Hmm, cool card for sure. Though I feel a bit bad for Kampmann -- did his star really fall that far? Maybe I'm underestimating Markham but I can't get the image of Dan Hardy taking his soul out of my head.

Well, Daley didn't exactly deserve the Kampmann fight, he still needs to prove to the mainstream that he isn't a fluke
