I didn't see the weigh ins, but if Johnson really was 6 pounds over, then there are serious implications for his character and his future as a WW.
6 pounds over is a stupid amound of weight, it means you are not even close to making weight. That means you aren't trying hard enough, or you are just too big.
If he had an injury that made it difficult for him to cut weight, he should have informed the UFC, he is contractually and ethically obligated too. I remember when Alves basically said straight up after the Hughes fight that he knew he wasn't going to make weight because of some ankle injury. Well say something then dumbass.
I thought AJ had a bright future at WW, but this makes me seriously reconsider.
