Hey guys i haven't posted in a while but have still kept an eye on these forums but after UFC 104 i just have to make a new thread, yes the whole ordeal of shogun vs machida has tons of threads well i'm not posting on that or anything. What i'm talking about is what Rogan was saying during i think it was the Neer fight and that is the judging in the UFC needs a total revamp.
So i'm curious on what everyone thinks should be judged differently and everything. Personally i think defensive moves should be counted a little bit higher and if you take someone down and they just get back up no position gain or anything i don't think the takedown should matter so much. Also i think judges need to realize that to hurt someone and cause damage they don't need to be hit in the face it is MMA after all.
Anywho that is just some of mine so i'm curious to see what you guys think maybe you can provide more specific examples or maybe more detail.
