Would you give up the belt?

With all this talk of if Machida should or shouldn't have conceded the belt despite the decision it made me think, would you give up the belt in his position? I gotta say, I probably wouldn't! Sorry if that seems bad, but I'd probably just be glad I 'won'.

What would you do? Honest answers now kids, Jesus hates liars.

Most people wouldn't but the perception of Machida is that he's so "honourable" and always seems to say and do the right stuff they expect him to do this kind of thing

If I was the champion and I would feel like I do as a fan right now, I would give up the belt. I wouldn't feel like this if I was the champion though.

This is an interesting point, Lyoto's demeanour would insist that he would give up the belt. Remeber when GSP beat Hughes and won the Interim belt, he said he didn't feel like a champion until he beat the true champion which at this time was Matt Serra, just one of the reasons GSP is my hero. Me sitting behind my computer, I would give up the belt until I thought I truly deserved it, me actually with the LHW belt, I have no clue what I would do. To be fair not many people consider Lyoto as champ now anyway, he may as well just give up the belt.

Favourite Fighters:

LHW: Gegard Mousasi
MW: Anderson Silva
WW: Georges St. Pierre
LW: Kenny Florian

I still see the fight as far to close to call, so I would not give up the belt.

Round 1: To close to call (goes to the champ)
Round 2: Clear win for Rua
Round 3: close with a lean twords Machida
Round 4: Clear win for Rua
Round 5: VERY close with a slight liean twords Machida

That scores it in Machidas favor for me, even though over all Shogun kicked his butt. That s why the overal fight should be scored and not each individual round!

No, b/c Dana would have told me not to, that way he and Zuffa can make truckloads of money from a rematch.

GSP did not give credit to Serra when Serra beat him
