glad u totally ignored my rampage comparison too, cuz not every fighter is like that, some believe in honor for real
who are you to say what machida thinks? it is much easier to tell who is winning by watching rather than actually fighting. and if the judges said he won, why is it so hard to believe that he thinks he won too.

Overhyped? This guy fought some of the best fighters in the World, even at his early days and beat them. But yes youre right he is loved, now ask youreself why is that so?

I answer it for you..

its because he is such a great human being and such an outstanding ambassador for this Sport who deserves every love on this planet!

see ur overhyping him right now... beating BJ at HW?? LOL, i love me some Rick Franklin, but he isnt a top LHW, so dont say early days he was pwning these guy.... BY DECISION... he has maybe two top 5 wins hius entire career (if u count this shogun win, altho pre fight, alot of ppl didnt have him in the top 5) and is being treated like he has already cleared out a division, typical UFC overhype, not as bad as say Houston Alexander, cuz Machida does belong in the UFC, but time will show he isnt near the top, the exposure of his style has just begun and i feel he is incapable of changing. Time will tell, but he def doesnt belong in the p4p conversation

As for being a great guy, i dont know him personally, maybe he is, he comes across aggrogant all the time. Maybe 3 or 4 more wins, he will be worth half the hype he has been given for being one of the most boring champions in ufc history
