Official scorecards for UFC 104ís Lyoto Machida vs. Mauricio Rua

Quote:
After Lyoto Machida's controversial unanimous decision win at Saturday's UFC 104 event, fans, including UFC President Dana White, were baffled by the outcome.

The judges - Cecil Peoples, Marcos Rosales and Nelson Hamilton - all scored the bout 48-47 in favor of the current light-heavyweight champion.

The scorecards were first published by MMAWeekly.com.

Because of the uproar, White stated that an immediate rematch will occur between the two Brazilians. Both fighters have already verbally agreed to a second match up.

Also what is up with them circling rounds 2 & 4 on Hamilton's card. Was that for him to remember what rounds he was supposed to score different than the other two judges?? These cards just further add to the confusion.

Wow... does anyone know the reasoning on why the two rounds scored differently were circled? And how the judge had lyoto winning round 4

They must have been re-tallied or something and that person circled the rounds that were different to make note of it.

Are judges allowed to see each other's cards anyway? The more I think about this the stranger it is, why would they have some guy re-tally the scores when the original cards would do just as well?
