So what Hoger needs to get power bombed. I just want to see Rampage vs. the Ice Man, and if Hoger needs to be the scarific then light the fire and throw him in, he sucks anyway.

so in the interest of always capturing new fans, should the UFC abandon ground fighting? also, you mentioned BJJ, as if that was the only option on the ground, which it isn't. but most UFC fighters know nothing of ground fighting at all, especially not the non-BJJ possibilities.
So to keep new fans interested, should the UFC just become a boxing organization? this way, no boring BJJ fights, and nobody will have to learn about the sport and broaden their understandings...
wait, already does sound like the UFC...

first off, silva is a little different than hogar... so respect or not, i don't think you can even imply the same situation.
and secondly, i'm pretty sure the Rampage/Silva fights where after QJ's turn to jeebus! he hasn't been the same since. still talks to talk, but hasn't walked it since then...

What are you talking about. Where the hell did this rant come from, this forum is about rampage fighting hoger, not about UFC hating, which you seem to be doing. Yea there are many ways to fight on the groud besides BJJ, I was just mentioning one of them, I shouldn't have to list them all. This fight is just a means to get to a better one, one every body wants to see, even UFC haters.

"no boring bjj fights" when is the last fight that has been purely bjj? Very long time man becuase most of the guys that take it to the ground nowdays have more of a wrestling background.

Actually, I remember an old Fight Sport article that came out before his first fight with W. Silva. He was mentioning his faith then. It wasn't what changed him. What changed him was the fact that he got beat down and stopped through the last very violent minutes of the second round of their first fight. Bad part about the whole affair is that the second fight with W. Silva was an even worst beating.
Ever since then, he wasn't the same. Hell, you can see the distinct lack of confidence in the fight he had with Murilo "Ninja" Rua. So no, "jeebus" didn't change him. That factor was there all along.
