Most excited for AJ/Koscheck....only after this fight, depending if Johnson wins, I will start to take him seriously. This is going to be an insanely good fight!
Much like the 105 card, not sure why people think its such a shit card. As far as it being a PPV, the numbers will be just fine. For the average fan this is Tito's return to the UFC, against Forrest who is a well known fighter in his own right. And altough Forrest has been dragged through themud after his debacle against AS, there are plenty of people who want to see how he rebounds. For more weel versed fans of mma, this is a classic rematch that many have been wanting for some time. I personally felt that Griffin won the first fight 29-28. He rebounded nicely after some vicious GnP in the first round (actually getting back to his feet in the first after the attack from Ortiz)and handled business in the last 2 rounds. Griffin , as well as Ortiz, both need to win in this fight which sets up for some excitement. Lil Nog vs. Cane is a great match up as well. Both fighters definitely have the cred to be on a big card. Amir hopefully gets into this fight, it will be nice to see if he was worthy of winning the contract. Perhaps the most intriguing fight is Kos vs. AJ. IMO Kos is the only fighter who has given GSP any trouble since GSP last lost. Rumble is a vicious striker. Hopefully AJ won't have any trouble making weight and there is no controversy for this fight. If Kos doesn't try to bang with Johnson he should get the win. So aftfer a freebie in 105, this PPV is actually ok. Yes its true that there aren't any title fights, but mant of these fights have title implications. The numbers aren't going to reach the 100 strtosphere, but they will just fine all the same.

Carley Simon, thanks for writing that song about me!
UFC and Spike are doing it again The prelims on an hour before the live pay per view for UFC 106. This time the two live bouts are Marcus Davis vs Ben Saunders and Rosholt vs Kendall Grove:
Quote:
Two UFC 106 undercard bouts will air on Spike TV ahead of the pay-per-view fights. One match up will be between welterweights Marcus Davis and Ben Saunders, while the other will be a middleweight clash between Jake Rosholt and Kendall Grove.
Sources close to MMA.Fanhouse.com confirmed the information today, saying that an official announcement of the undercard bouts will be released within the next few days.
This will be the third time that Spike has aired undercard bouts of a UFC event. Previously, the network aired undercard fights of UFC 103 and UFC 104. Both times, the viewership was 1.4 million. For UFC 103, Spike showed Tomasz Drwal defeat Drew McFedries and Efrain Escudero pick up a win Cole Miller. For UFC 104, they aired Pat Barry winning over Antoni Hardonk and Ryan Bader coming out the victor over Eric Schafer.
UFC 106 takes place on Nov. 21 in Las Vegas. The main event is a rematch between two former light-heavyweight champions, Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin.
Come on, every UFC card would be a dream card if they were held only every three or four months or whenever they could stack them.
Are we forgetting that this wasn't the intended main event? And even without Lesnar-Carwin, it's still a solid card and we get the undercard for free. So what's to complain about?
Lesnar's sick, Lyoto's hurt, Anderson's out -- what do you guys want?
Strikeforce has a long way to go. UFC is becoming underappreciated.
