If Nog shows up looking like he did against Couture he takes this impressively.

He absolutely tooled Couture. Couture's wrestling had nothing on him, what is Velasquez's wrestling going to do?

And there's no way that Cain's going to knock Nog out. And if he tries to lay and pray to a decision he's going to get subbed.

Bet the house on Nog!

Then let's see Nog vs Lesnar. Nog's wrestling > Coutures, and Couture neutralized Lesnar's, plus Nog has way better stand up and a better chin. There's definitely a lot of chance for Nog to take the title.

Hard to pick a winner here. This fight has alot of possibilities for different outcomes.
Just curious, how does Cain win this?

He's not going to knock Nog out, he's healthy now. Plus in the stand up Nog's boxing is probably 10x superior to Cain's striking.

Nog's wrestling dominated Couture's wrestling... so I dunno how much trouble Velasquez can present with his?

And if he can take Nog down, he's on the ground with one of the most dangerous groundfighters on the planet. I doubt he'll be lay-and-praying for the UD without getting subbed.

I think this is too big of a matchup for Cain right now. Seriously, Cain gets Nog, the #4 HW in the world, and JDS gets GONZAGA? If anything, feed Cain to JDS so we can establish a better ranking. Nog is going to walk through Cain, and JDS will have basically no problem with Gonzaga.

This card is...AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWESOME!!!

If there's no injuries, this could be the best UFC event of all time.

Shane Carwin vs. Brock Lesnar
Gabe Gonzaga vs. Junior Dos Santos
Carlos Condit vs. Paul Daley
Rory Markham vs. Martin Kampmann
Big Nog vs. Cain Velasquez
Thiago Silva vs. Rashad Evans
Tyson Griffin vs. Jim Miller
Joe Lauzon vs. Sam Stout
Dan Lauzon vs. Cole Miller

THAT is how a card should be. Evenly matched fights and a clash of different styles. This is a card, people.

Also if Cain plays it smart like Lesnar did against Mir and only goes to ground when he can secure good position instantly (Brock stood up from Mir's guard and took him down right after and ended up in side control) we might actually see Nog finished for second time by Cain's nasty G&P.
Nasty GnP, really??

Fedor's GnP is nasty, possibly the nastiest in the sport and it didn't finish Big Nog.

Cain won't finish a healthy Nog with his GnP.

It will come down to whether or not Cain's top control can neutralize Nog's sub and sweep attempts. Tough task if you ask me.

I don't see him TKOing and subbing Nog tbh but he could take a UD.

Man, I really hope these fights happen. Hard to get my hopes up this far in advance but a great wrestler vs a great jujitsu player can be the fight of the night.

As much as I dislike him Brown Pride is really getting screwed out of a title shot.
