Joe Rogan's doing standup that the same night in Vegas it's advertised on the the homepage of the official UFC web site.
Rogan is the man, he says what you're thinking when you jump out of the couch and is clearly more knowlegable about mma than goldberg is. Goldberg kind of just repeats things Rogan says in earlier fights except more intelligent sounding, he tends to know a lot about the history of the fighters as well (the dramatic parts atleast). I'd actually think it'd be pretty cool to hear what some of the Refs would say as a commentator since they're there at the scene and know every single rule in the book, and have watched enough fights to know and see things we tend to overlook. Herb Dean/Rogan? Yamasaki/Rogan? or big John...

bombthreat23 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
rogan is doing stand up at house of blues in Vegas the same night, it does however say that he is to start at 11pm...that would give him plenty of time to do the ufc (remember the time difference)

Couture sounds like a recorded message. I really don't want to hear a lifeless, barely audible voice. Couture was a great fighter, is a great person, but is a bad commentator.

Rogan is seriously the best commentator in MMA right now. You can say what you will about him, but atleast he explains what's going on in there. He's not perfect, but he's enthusiastic, and he says what he feels. Really, the hate Rogan gets is baffling.

Someone mentioned Mir, Goldberg, & Rogan. I'd love to hear that 3 man team. Mir is severly underrated as a commentator.

I have serious doubts that Rogan will be on commentary that night if he will be doing his stand-up gig later that night. I believe there's a lot of preparation involved in stand-up comedy and he probably has to focus on that beforehand, and especially before he goes on-stage. Unfortunately, I don't think Rogan will be commentating at UFC 66.
