Steroided?

How many/which UFC fighters are steroided? It's easy enough to slip past testing (not saying I have, only that I know people who have and discussed it with them), so really who's getting the unfair advantage?

Sherk, Riggs, and plenty of others instantly come to mind. I would say Hughes is an example of what a natural weightlifter would end up looking like with good cardio.

****Keep in mind that a lot of guys do not use roids close to the event, but squeeze in a cycle during their down time between fight. I consider this to be the same thing. If you have EVER done steroids, you're a cheat, period.

there's honestly no way to excuse steroids. you use them, you're not a pure athlete, therefore you're not as good as any of your accomplishments!

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

I can't stand seeing guys like Phil Baroni who are def "on". Look at him in his 2nd fight with Even Tanner, much differnt physique than their first (big drop off).

As for how many guys use... There's obviously a lot more poeple that juice than we'll ever know about. It will always be a mistery... Like Prod1gy said: Fighters can easily fit a cycle between fights.

How old are you guys? Have you ever been in a competitive sport? Have you ever taken any supplement at all? Have you actually done any research on what steroids do to your body and how it affects cardio? You guys are just regurgitating what the anti steroid, barry bonds bs had fed you.
Most MMA guys have done a cycle of something at some point. So you're going to say that 90%, if not more, of the fighters in existence should go take a flying leap? You're all ignorant.

Yes, I am an athlete. I have very competitive times in the men's 110meter high hurdles for the track team, I fight in the cage. I have never taken any form of steroids. I am fairing just fine. If you need to take steroids to boost yourself on ANY level, it is not ignorance to state you are too weak and rely on another substance's support to better yourself. Therefore you are not in your own pure form of physical fitness, therefore everything stated thus far has been supported. I don't care if it's used to assist in the gym or in the octagon, you are still not fighting at your own potential, but rather the potential given to you by the assistance of another drug.

What you say is idealistic. It is not practical. Steroids do not make you a better fighter......let that sink in a bit. They do not give you a win over a non steroid user. Steroids are useful for gaining tendon stregnth long term and water induced muscle strength short term. One drawback from using steroids (while on cycle) is the reduced cardio, unless you are just taking Winny. Fighters do better NOT to be on cycle but benefit from the stregnth gains kept after running a cycle. Another statement: THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH STEROIDS (wow, what the hell is this guy talking about, right?)
Steroids are just increased dosages of what your body makes all by itself. People take lareger dosages to create higher protien synthasis in their muscles to promote growth. SO WHAT? You may have a problem with it, but most professional athletes do not.

You're a complete f'in idiot. "You guys are just regurgitating what the anti steroid, barry bonds bs had fed you".. wtf, everyone on the face of the planet knows the side effects of steroids. Besided, in general, ANYTHING with insanely powerful results on the human body damages it elsewhere. And "90%, if not more"? Just because you're a juicer doesn't mean everyone else is. I doubt it's even 40%, if that. I'll see you in 10 years when you're bald, impotent and lonely.

Hey go fvck yourself pencil d*ck. Big mouth on the forum. Live in Arizona by chance? Of course there are side effects. I've done one cycle and I compete in MMA. I definitely work my a$$ of in the gym without being on juice. I know a lot of people who do. There are ways to keep side effects away but you wouldn't know anything about that. You're just some punk that feels like they're getting their punches on someone they think is some dumb steroid abuser. Fvck you
