I would love to see Paul Daley get a shot one day, but i doubt it, he is far too one dimensional, great fighter though.

I'm not saying these guys are deserving or undeserving of a title shot right now -- but following the wording of this thread, here are my favorite talent guys in each weight class who haven't had title shots yet.

155 - Gray Maynard
170 - Anthony Johnson
185 - Sexyama
205 - Bones Jones
205+ - Velasquez (I'm a believer. Even if he gets caught against a big puncher like JDS, Cain has a CHIN)

I don't see Akiyama doing anything spectacular at MW, first time I watched it I thought Belcher beat him.

And wasn't Cain rocked hard with one punch by Cheick?

Completeley agree witht he others though.

Velasquez was nearly overwhelmed by an unprepared Kongo. JDS' striking IMO is leagues above Kongo's and he's getting his black belt from Nog. I like Cain, I think he can be plenty exciting, but I'm not sure if he's ready yet.

And Maynard... I always thought that guy was just tooooooo slow for a lightweight. His striking is in like slow motion. haha

definitely rumble is really close to a title shot imo.
