Thanks and I agree with you about the unjustified hate he gets.

It's digusting at this point. Even in being seriously ill, some people still insist on kicking him while he's down. Pathetic.

The hate may be bit exaggerated, but not necessarily unjustified.
He turned him self into a "bad" guy, don't forget that. You either like him or hate him..
I personally don't care either way, but I do wish him speedy recovery.

Brock was getting booed before he ever set foot in the Octagon. Fighters that he has gone on to destroy (Mir/Herring) have completely dissed his pas career and show zero respect for him.

No man deserves to be kicked when he's down with a serious illness. Especially a man with a family. Regardless as to whether or not he talked trash about a sponsor, or got in Mir's face, or.... dare I say, became known as a threat to the beloved Fedor's reign... yeah I went there.

It's baffling how much hate Lesnar has gotten. I attribute most of it to bitter Fedor fanboys, but you're right, he was hated from the start. Jealousy I'm guessing.

What's baffling about it? He came into the UFC expecting a silver platter. He said so himself; he thinks he's better than everyone and he's not afraid to say it. Nevermind his incredible ability or phenomenal physique, he's pompous and THIS has rubbed people the wrong way.

I'm sure a lot of people were on the fence about him until his rant after beating Mir. It's hard to cheer for someone like that. He's very new to the sport and to those who say no one respects him, he shouldn't expect more than he's given.

My two cents. That being said, I hope his career doesn't end due to illness and that he can continue in the UFC. He's been fairly entertaining up to now, and I'm sure he's got some great fights ahead of him. He's kind of like a much bigger Tito... but not funny.

And to whoever said he's made himself the bad guy, that pretty much summed it up. He is his own creation.

And, similarly, to the fans... they should expect as much in return as what they give.

How is that any different from what you're saying?

You're saying that he (the fighter) shouldn't expect respect from anyone; yet, you think he should respect them?

I disliked Brock, but his illness has mitigated some of the dislike I have directed at him. I wish him a speedy recover because I do want to see people beat him.
