Damn that's pretty harsh. Especially since he's watching the Cain/Rothwell fight while forming his opinion. Even when I saw that fight live I could tell Steve didn't do anything wrong. Rothwell looked like he was on his way out and just as he started to wave it off Rothwell stood up. It was just unlucky timing on Steve's part, it wasn't bad judgement.

Dana is right. Steve is the worst ref out there. He's so bad, be makes Mirgliotta look good. Now that is mind boggling!

I think Dana is right on this one. Steve is a awful referee.

Do I have to tap out all day?? Where is the reaction Steve??

Dan Mirgliotta is a much worse ref than Maz will ever be. On top of his terrible stoppages he has, on two occasions, hurt fighters. He pokes Heath Herring in the eye during the faceoff against Lesnar and he basically tackled some lightweight at the end of a round.

I've said before that I actually agree with the Cain/Rothwell stoppage. Despite being oddly timed, Ben was warned that Maz wouldn't let him take those kind of shots. You can't opt to take 5 shots to the face when the rules state "defend yourself at all times"

Heh yeah, Lesnar was getting a chance to take his taps back, hes is lucky. Tapping with such hesitancy often results in stoppage, then the fighter complains.

Yves Lavigne almost got Pete Sell killed in the Matt Bown fight. He also missed Chris Leben tapping out and as a result he was put to sleep.
