Silva needs to fight Mousasi?? Ok, Fedor needs to fight Brock. Makes about as much sense.

After getting embarrassed by RJJ (Y'all musta forgot?? lol) i think Andersons boxing career will be over. For those that said they want to mimick Andersons standup, well he mimicked a ton from RJJ basically all his stand up, but RJJ does what Silva did to Griffin on the regular to ppl in boxing during his prime. He is going to lose to a 40 year old RJJ.

As for some fun fights in strikeforce, yea. But why are ppl dismissing so many interesting fights in the UFC at 205 for him?? Why do ppl think this "we wont fight each other" thing will never pass when the green touches the ceiling? Ill bet we will all see Machida vs Silva long before most ppl expect it and long before we would ever see Silva vs Fedor. How could this fight be considered for the p4p crown?? Thats like having Aldo jump up to fight Silva and call it for the p4p crown.

Anyways, Anderson should fight RJJ, lose and come back to the UFC where is is comfortable and will still get the most $ and whenever he wants have the most anticapated fight in MMA history with Machida or Shogun (preferably Machida from a marketing standpoint).

I dont think people will be saying that when they see Anderson is 3 inches taller and looking down at Fedor. Anderson is real close to Arlovski's size. Just not as heavy. And Arlovski looked huge next to Fedor.

Anyway, win, lose, or draw, and a Fedor fight, then Anderson should go after Mousasi. But Fedor first!

FEDOR vs MACHIDA

Andrei has about 2 inches on Anderson I believe but yes the size difference with Fedor was pretty substantial in their fight. Fedor is like 6' or 6'1" though isn't he? I think as long as Anderson kept the fight standing that he would beat Fedor but if Fedor turned it into a grappling match he could very well finish Anderson.

I like to imagine if Anderson went to Strikeforce (not going to happen) that he would take on Fedor and follow that up, regardless of the outcome, with a fight against Mousasi. I put Fedor first just in case Silva actually lost to Mousasi it wouldn't diminish the appeal of a "p4p" battle with Fedor.

Fedor is not the best striker but he would could fight Anderson well, even standing. He came in with the perfect strategy to fight Cro Cop standing (closing the distance and putting the pressure) and he did decently. Hell, if this fight were to take place, Fedor would be the first person to knock Anderson out cold.
Aggressively pushing the action against Silva is probably a bad idea. Your probably going to be either caught coming in with a walk away shot (see Griffin, Forrest) or devastated in the clinch (see Rich Franklin).

Griffin, Forrest? haha

Seriously though pretending like Franklin and Forrest are anywhere near Fedor on any level is pretty absurd. We're not even sure Silva would beat ANY heavyweight, let alone the best HW in the world.

Fedor takes this fight before the end of the 2nd round and Silva knows it, unfortunately we will never see this fight. We probably won't even see the Mousasi fight.

Fedor's a big LHW, if dropped the baby fat he would make 205 pretty easily.
