There are actually alot of good kickers, it's just like others have said they are too worried about the counter or takedown.
Liddell has some of the best kicks in the business but he just doesn't use them as much because of the takedowns. Alot of these guys have backgrounds in some sort of Karate or Tae Kwon Do, they would just rather GNP, BJJ or look for the KO punch.

Ive noticed this a lot.
Still being in highschool, I find that I hate the wrestlers. They are usually dumber kids and they are assholes.
That is why I find myself cheering against them a lot of the time.

Liddell got the best kicks out of everyone in the UFC no doubt, LOot of people don't know it because he doesn't utilize his kicks as much now because his hands pretty much get the jobs done. Lotta poeple have seen the Sobral KO so they have seen his kick, but when Liddell first starting fightijg MMA he used to throw KO kicks all the time, more than punches. Chuck's defenitlyh the best kicker in the UFC even though he hasnt used it latley.

ufc figthers kicks doesn't seem to have that deadly snap to it.. most look like gay little taps to the thigh and joe rogan would go "nice kick"!!!! moron.. i guess its his job to hype it up tho.. even franklins kicks are ugly compared to anderson silvas during that fight.. chucks kicks are ok... not enought to be a kicker.. his high kick was strong but not powerful and deadly.. and the form was ugly.. its not a swooping ultra fast kick.. and he claim to be a kick boxer ha! plus kick boxers use knees!
that said and done most ufc fighters kicks are sloppy, ugly, ineffective and dont have that killer snap... check out arona's low kicks.. those things are deadly... and we all know about crocop
i think it has to do with the motion... look at the ugly form the ufc fighters do.. and look at the pride fighters.. someone needs to teach them how to kick !!! im pissed my favorite knock out is the kick to the head

Chuck Liddell has actually got some great kicks, he just doesn't focus on them as much. Look at the end of round 1 VS. Tito Ortiz, luckily Ortiz's hands were high otherwise he would have been out.

Guys like Cro Cop come from K-1 Kickboxing that is mainly why is kicks are so deadly. There are alot of fighters their that have just as good kicks as him if not some even better.

Yah Hoost was the shit. He beat Cro Cp 3 times, knocking him out twice. Too bad he retired this year. Peter Aerts has some wicked kicks also.

I dont know how good Hoost would do in MMA but he would mess up guys like Cro Cop, Liddell, Wand, Aleks and other mainly standup guys everytime they fought.
