PRIDE FC vs. UFC - Who Has The...

Who has the BEST talent class to class. Heavy weight to Lightweight???

I give PRIDE the HW, and LW
I give UFC the LHW, and the WW
BUT I think the Middleweights are too close to call

HW1 Fedor
LHW1 Liddell
MW either Lindland or Silva
WW1 George St.Pierre
LW1 Gomi

PRIDE Middleweight and UFC Lightheavyweight are the same weight though...

PRIDE FC gets:
Middleweight/Lightheavyweight
Heavyweight
Lightweight

UFC gets:
Welterweight

lol this list is very lobsided. Then again it's true.

The PRIDE MW division is heaps better than the UFC LHW division even though Liddell > all PRIDE MW fighters but after Liddell the list runs dry.

The PRIDE HW division is miles better than the UFC HW division for reasons EVERYONE understands.

The UFC WW division is the only one to me that gets the edge for UFC, with amazing fighters in GSP, Matt Hughes, Penn ect..

well first lets get this straight

pride heavy weight = ufc heavy weight
pride middleweight = ufc light heavy weight
pride welterweight = ufc middleweight
pride lightweight = ufc lightweight + 5 pounds

pride doesnt have a 170 weight division

now that this is settled the only champ i see having a chance would be GSP who could give gomi a hell of a fight if he moved down to 160 but IMO gomi would take it oh and i guess chuck has a small chance against shogun as well i guess but a better one against wanderlei

Heavyweight = UFC cmon they got Tim the MANIAC Sylvia

LHW = Prides Division is better having Shogun, Wand, Arona, Rogerio better than UFC Chuck, Tito, Babalu and Rampage Jackson.

MW = Prides division is alot stronger here having Paulo Filho, Dan Henderson, Misaki, Denis Kang, Gono definetly beating UFC with only Rich Franklin and Anderson Silva (also good potenial in Marquardt and Lister and swick)

WW= UFC. This is definetly UFCs strongest division with Hughes, GSP, Diego, BJ penn, Karo, Kos, Fitch and others.
Too bad Pride does not have this division so can not reall compare it.

LW = Pride having guys like Gomi, Hayato Sakurai, Tatsuya Kawajiri, Joachim Hansen, Mitsuhiro Ishida, Marcus Aurelio, Gilbert Melendez definetly all worth menitioning. The UFCs LW division has great prospective talent but their division is still growing with fighters like Sherk, BJ Penn maybe, Fisher, Stevenson, Franca, Tyson Griffin and alot of other new comers that are still on the rise.

HW = obvisously a joke before with the Tim Sylvia remark. this division goes to Pride for sure. Not going to name any names because I am sure everyone knows why.
