UFC PPVs Too Often?
UFC needs to calm down with their events. I love UFC as much as the next guy but this is kind of crazy. UFC 105-107(including the TUF 10 Finale) all happen within a 4 week span. If they calmed down with these events, they would be able to make good cards instead of these mediocre/bad (IMO)ones. I have not liked any of the UFCs since after UFC 101 and I think spacing them out would make them much better. Not only that but if an injury pops up, they're not so screwed as they have a larger list of fighters to choose from who haven't faught in awhile. I can't complain about the money issue as I watch most UFCs for free but I bet there are some people that won't want to buy UFC 106 then buy UFC 107 2 weeks later. Thoughts?

lol.... they have more fighters then just the house hold names....

if you want them to do what you say, they will have the shorten up their roster by a large amount.

I imagine all the fighters that would get cut/sit around waiting for a fight would disagree.

It also seems worth noting that half the events you mention are/were free.

I agree 100%. They really need to bunch up some of these "headliner" fights into one event. It is really getting stupid. As long as people keep buying them, they wont change a thing.

Couldnt agree with you any less. Im a fan of mma in general. I watch as many events as possible. These last few cards havent had that many great names on them, but they have all delivered some seriously entertaining fights. Dont know what to tell you if you are only judging the quality of a card based upon the number of "names" on it. I enjoy mma as much as hardcore football fans enjoy football, I want to watch it as much as possible. Im a big fan of them having lots of events all the time.

well another reason these last few cards dont seem so popular are because there are some fighters who were scheduled to fight and have been injured or sick.

its a rough time for the UFC with a lot of UFC top fighters not being able to fight.

This is the main reason I want them to land a network deal with a big network. They have the process down that they could have weekly fight cards with good fights. I'm happy to see that they are putting preliminary fights on Spike. It is a step in the right direction.

Well, too much exposure could take away the 'event' feel of the UFC and make it 'Guys fighting on TV'. I'm sure they put quite a bit of research into this stuff though.

More events the better. Simple as. There are fighters like Kos who want to fight every month.

Let them

NO! Don't order them then. The more the better. Who cares if they're not big names. Skilled fighters vs skilled fighters is what a true fan should want to watch, not name vs name.

I wish more fighters had Koshchecks attitude about fighting.
